On June 18, 2021, the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division 2, reversed the judgement against my client. At trial, she was convicted of extortion and other charges for participating as a plaintiff in civil gender discrimination lawsuits. I handled her appeal and successfully argued there was insufficient evidence of criminal conduct. The charges cannot be retried against her.
