William Holzer was born and raised in southern California. He is a graduate of UCLA (’04) and UCLA Law School (’07).  During law school he clerked with the California Department of Justice, Appeals, Writs, and Trials Sections, and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Compton Hardcore Gang Unit.

William worked as a Deputy District Attorney with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office from 2007 to 2012.  He was awarded “Prosecutor of the Month” on six occasions for his success in criminal jury trials. As a prosecutor in the narcotics unit, he worked in the field with local, state and federal agencies. He participated in the execution of gang and narcotics search warrants, worked on undercover buy programs, and used undercover officers (UCs) and confidential informants (CIs) in his cases.

After leaving the DA’s Office, William started a solo practice in southern California and later moved his practice to Colorado.  He represents clients in criminal and civil matters, in California and Colorado, in both trial and appellate courts. William’s clients are almost always the “little guys,” and he zealously represents them against the Goliaths of modern society.

Outside of work, William is devoted to his wife and children. They enjoy exploring the natural beauty of Colorado. Williams plays ice hockey, skis, fly-fishes and participates in competitive shooting matches. He still has surfboards stashed on the California coast.
